#5130 01.03.2025 tasting at Whiskymessen.dk 2025. Nose Light, sweet, light wood, light caramel, faint coconut, light mint, faint floral. Palate Light, sweet, round, light wood, light roasted, light vegetal, faint floral, faint medicinal, spice, faint nutts. Finish Medium long, round, light, sweet, light leather, faint caramel, faint medicinal, faint licorice. I would have loved this one at a 10% higher ABV at least 😊

Mmmmh, this rum is very tasty, I like it a lot. It has a slight chocolate, cocoa and coffee note on the nose and palate. A spice is not really noticeable, the alcohol is perfectly integrated, good rum.

This one is richer in taste than the Gran Reserva. Woody, molasses, sweet, a tiny bit of spices and easy to drink. The Seleccion Exclusiva is still my favorite.
