My RumRatings review from 6 years ago: The Plantation Barbados 2000 was the first rum I consciously bought pure from a specialty store back in 2012, because Havana Club and the like were no longer enough for me. It convinced me so much that I stuck with rum. So for me, definitely special. A really good, solid rum and for me the starting shot of the rum journey. Are there subjectively better bottlings? Definitely, but for me always a solid totally subjective 8/10.
