Successful bottling, very smooth despite the high alcohol content, watch out!☝🏻😀 Intense sherry notes combined with great woody aromas and fine sweetness. For me, one of the better bottlings from the SCC range recently. I feel like this bottle should be enjoyed soon in a nice round, if it sits too long it turns too negatively woody.

#4589 26-27.01.2024 Hanse Spirit The best of them but again you'll have to be a member to get them. Nose Light, wood, light smoke, fruits, light caramel. Palate Round, wood, light smoke, cherry, light coconut, sweet, light chocolate. Finish Medium long, wood, roasted, light cherry and chocolate.

Letzter für heute, wurde auch Zeit :) Egal, Dankebfür die Pulle geht raus an FischeJ. Finde ihn ziemlich gut, um ihn als Barbados Beispiel zu nehmen. Relativ fruchtig, rote Früchte, Ananas und Kirsche sind erkennbar.

Wieder ein etwas untypischer Foursquare. An der Nase eine leicht rauchige/speckige Note, die sich am Gaumen fortsetzt und gut mit der Süße harmoniert. Gefällt mir besser als sein jüngerer 10y Bruder RX13191 mit der Oliven-(fast Fehl-)Note. Bleibt leider im Abgang etwas blass und eindimensional. Kann man kaufen, muss man aber nicht.

Sweet and quaffable, the maple syrup is noticeable through a biting sweetness. Overall a little thin and flat and with a very quick finish, otherwise there would still be potential here

Tolle Holznote vom Bourbonfass. Sherry riecht man, im Geschmack sehr dezent. Geruch und Geschmack etwas sprittig. Alkohol könnte besser eingebunden sein.

Geniales Zeug…fühlt sich erst wie Likör an, dann kommen aber 62 Volt! Gefolgt von Captain Ahabs Holzbein Aroma, darauf dann aber warme Sherry-süße. Bleibt extrem lang im Mund. Man muss aber Holz mögen…das dominiert!
