Anyone who already knows the TDL "Trinidad mint" and wants it aged will feel right at home here. Strong mint runs through the whole glass, with vanilla, orange peel, light wood and a technical, medicinal edge underneath. At 48% the alcohol sits well integrated, and the finish is long, herbal and fruity. One taster compared it to a single malt — that malty, herbal-bitter side isn't for everyone.

#6646 12.04.2026 Enjoying some samples while watching the TV Series "House of David". Pretty Ok release in my mind. The nose is medium intense with light wood, orange, light chocolate, faint nougat and raisin. The palate is oily and naturally sweet with light roasted wood, dried fruit, light nougat, chocolate and light herbs. The finish is long and fruity with light roasted wood, herbs, chocolate and orange.

This reminds me of a single malt scotch. To be 100% honest I have tried it 3 times and I guess this is not the one for me. 👃 is mainly wood with hints of vanilla and molasses. 👅 is however another story. First the wood hits you with ita typical oak barrell aroma but later on you get a sense of bitterness as if you were eating herbs for digestion. Last but not least I am sensing an orange peel which complements the bitterness. Overall the herbal notes and sort of malty taste reminds me of scotch and honestly, if I want scotch I will get some. I am not looking for this notes in rum. For me this one is a show stopper although I am sure it will find a way to rumthusiasts.

Today I will taste a thinner version of the filling for cz&sk. I usually prefer a higher abv, so we'll see. On the nose you have, technical "dirtiness", vanilla. On the palate you can tell the lower abv, but surprisingly it didn't hurt that much. The mint comes through strongly and is clearly dominant, medium finish with the fruit following. Nice.

Even this lighter version is not so delicios compared to release with high abv for CZ+SK rum community, it is still excellent Trinidad rum. One of my favorite ones for still good money

Another good chill evenning. Aroma is little bit fruity, but just a little. Most dominant scents are rubber, cigar smoke, medicinal, mistiness and some scent of mineral. Really like this one, you can say it is Trinidad scent. Taste is very complex. Again there is a hint of fruit and some sweet tones of vanilla, but most dominant flavors are leather, smoke, wood, I noticed some herbal tones (almost earthy/dirt) and here is really strong mint flavor. Finish is quite long, warmy, spicy and Trinidad-y (ot is hard to say what is it). For me this is one of the best rum in catwgory quality/price/availability. It is not for everyone, I will not recomend it to someone who is new to Rum World and never try anything from this destination.

Beautiful matte bottle under 100 euros. You can feel the alcohol, but very drinkable. I recommend it even to beginner rum drinkers to discover new flavors. The mint from TDL is an unmistakable taste that you will never get tired of.
