Shop visit Rhum Attitude Brussels May 2025. An agricole bottled exclusively for Rhum Attitude, which I was able to taste on site. I like it very much. Fruity, woody, and vegetal on the nose. On the palate, the fruits are joined by a nice spiciness.

Bottled from the barrel at Rhum Attitude in Brussels. Fruity, sweet, alcohol noticeable due to the over 70%, but not too dominant and very well integrated. I'll take more with me on my next visit.

Vintage 2016, in a cognac cask. With 8.4 out of 10 it is a very good bottle, though not the top of my ranking.

Nose: grape/vanilla/nougat; very gourmand Palate: peach/almond cake; incredibly soft and light for this voltage Finish: rather long on peppery notes Superbly integrated rum despite the 70.1% on the meter! And I really liked it. Probably the most surprising Père Labat I've ever tasted! And the icing on the cake is that you can rack your bottle straight from the barrel! Thanks again Jordan for sharing the samples.
