Unfortunately I don't know the predecessor to make a comparison. All in all, a nice blend. But unfortunately nothing extraordinary that knocks me off my feet. In my opinion, it fits into the easy sipper category.

Nice Jamaican blend. I prefer the nose over the palate as it is more vibrant and funky. Nevertheless well balanced on the palate with fruits, wood, vanilla, cookie dough and milk chocolate.

A solid and beautiful Jamaica blend. Unfortunately, however, not on the level of the Ester Delight I. For 135€ priced for 2023 okay, but not outstanding.

a blend of five Jamaican distilleries: it should be HD, Clarendon, LP, NY and St. Catherine. The first Esters Delight I do not know, unfortunately. I definitely like this one quite a bit, though. Fermented fruit and cookie dough on the nose. The longer I smell, the more I can detect: orange zest, a slightly mentholated note, and vinegrette. Pleasantly mild on the palate, with fermented fruit, spicy, chocolaty, mocha. Successful blend!

#4119 Once rested for a good while this one releases a nice ester profile without it being too dominant. Fruity and intense nose with some glue and light licorice. The empty glass is nice with some tropical fruits and very light chocolate. Price to quality is OK.

Solider Blend. Erkennbar sind für mich Hampden, Long Pond und Clarendon. Schöner Abgang mit etwas dreckigen Noten. Fehlt allerdings der Tiefgang der 1. Version. Deutlich unspektakulärer in Zweitverkostung.

Besides the obligatory fruit esters, it has a nice creamy-fresh lactose note that makes me think of toffee with a little sour cream. For me, by far the best bottling of the V&M release.

Esters Delight Nr 1 hat mir etwas besser gefallen.

In any case, you can taste Long Pond and Hampden out. Beautiful blend!

I don't know the first version, but I really like this one. Nice combo of esters, butter, fruit, pastry, wood, menthol and a background blend with great bitterness, licorice, something medicinal and spices. Price still OK. Certainly great in the tiki drink of choice.

Solid blend with a funky, dry profile. Fruits develop over time, but stand behind the ester notes. Not as complex as expected with the multiple distilleries used for this.

Nice blend, but overall a little too bitter for me. Alcohol well integrated.

Fruity, mid esters, nic
