All in all a tasty Guyana rum. Again, unfortunately a bit too heavily diluted as usual. But I don't find that too bad because it still tastes very delicious.

#6754 06.05.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after picking up my wife from work. Watching the latest episode of Gold Rush on Max. A pretty decent rum in my mind. A relatively light rum with nice fruit, light roasted wood, olive and fain salti.

Somewhat weak aromas, esters, tropical fruits, and stewed fruits. Woody, vegetal side, freshness, dry herbs, and tar. The entry on the palate is soft, woody, with yellow fruits, apple, and prunes. The finish is medium, with wood and prunes gaining importance; fruits remain until the end. A rum focused on freshness and fruits. Too light to be really interesting, although still very drinkable.

Cadenhead's Green Label Guyana 15yr. Both on the nose and palate show typical (old) Guyana notes of wood, spices and pencil. The alcohol is well integrated, the finish is short and insignificant. Basically a solid rum!

Interesting profile, leaning most towards Enmore/Versailles. Overall somewhat confusingly softened, despite the mineral notes with surprisingly present sweetness. Overall very balanced, which somewhat sacrifices complexity. Solid release.

First a very restrained nose. On the palate then a great smooth mix of fruit and caramel with vanilla and plenty of young wood. A very nice mix that in my eyes is better than the Demerara 15 years.

On the nose, a scent of sugarcane, papyrus, vanilla, toffee, apricot and some oak. The color is a light straw yellow, similar to a Havana Club 3 years. On the tongue, the rum gives the impression of being rather light to medium-bodied. After a long time, at least a taste of mandarin can be detected, otherwise the rum is rather reserved in the mouth. The finish is characterized by some oak and a certain sharpness.
