Overall a super smooth, balanced, elegant and very good rum that I tasted at the Sweden Rumfest 2023 two days before the official release date. This is the second release in a series of rum called the Swedish Rum Nerd series. This time it’s dedicated to the very enthusiastic and positive Mikael Forster, a well known enthusiast in the Swedish rum community whose measure is “Sharing is caring”. It’s a molasses based column distilled single cask from Panama aged for 15 years in ex-bourbon cask and finished in Moscatel cask bottled in just 198 bottles.

Come on - it tasted sweet. And it has profile. Panama? Great!
Review by Claes Nilsson
Light alcohol on the nose together with fruit, raisins and wood. Sweet taste, pleasant, spicy. Wood also in the taste and aftertaste. Not alcoholic at all in taste. A bit short on the finish.
