The nose is initially woody. Vanilla too. Not crazy. On the palate, wood dominates and then a bitterness mixed with acidity takes over. Grape or cognac barrel, I think. Unfortunately, it doesn't work very well. Very different from the XO, which I rather liked. And clearly a step below.
Auto-translatedVery strong sharp acidic nose. Strong on the alcohol considering only 41 %. Airing a bit helps very much. Notes of spices/vanilla and sweet/creamy appears.
