It’s too little of everything to really catch me. Weak aromas of fruit, wood, vanilla, butterscotch and herbs. At the palate the aromas is there as flavors with an ok balance between dryness and sweetness.

Not really my thing, still way too unbalanced and rough for its age. The alcohol is dominant, the whole distillate tastes medicinal and unfinished.

The nose is woody at first. Also vanilla. Not crazy. On the palate, the wood is dominant and then a bitterness mixed with acidity takes over. Raisin or cognac cask I think. Unfortunately, it works only moderately well. Very different from the XO that I rather liked. And clearly a notch below.

Heavy grape notes, almost like a wine or champagne. Very herby and vegetal. Sweet but not in a traditional rum sense. Not a lot of alcohol burn.

The nose reminds me of an eaux de vie. Quite flowery with a big hit of grapes. Some dried fruits and spice. The palate has a strong grape note with some vanilla and oak from the barrel. It also has a creaminess throughout it. The finish is rather smooth. Peaches in caramel with a hint of ginger. It's very easy drinking and I honestly could be fouled into thinking this was a lightly aged peach brandy if tasted blind.

Very strong sharp acidic nose. Strong on the alcohol considering only 41 %. Airing a bit helps very much. Notes of spices/vanilla and sweet/creamy appears.

On the nose, grain, papyrus, and a musty, moldy smell. In the glass, a golden yellow color. On the tongue, watery with a taste of straw and papaya. The finish has fruit notes of mango, papaya, and a bit of apricot.

Not a bad rum, but nothing that really stands out or stays in memory. The rum lacks some depth and complexity, but overall it's harmonious, without rough edges. Fruit and pepper dominate for me.

Solid representative, fruity nose with raisins and dried fruit, moderate sweetness on the palate again, caramel, vanilla and dried fruit. A bit of cask influence that asserts itself in the finish
