Second supplement from the weekend. Again, a lot of mint on the nose, but also some young wood. On the palate also mainly mint, but otherwise also slightly dirty notes such as leather and still some vanilla and wood.

Even this bottling from the next Cadenhead split by Alex_Kunath couldn't really convince me. Overall it seems a bit boring and thin, as usual from rums of this series. Nice to have tried.

Interesting old bottling at still a good price. Slightly dirty notes reminiscent of Caroni, with mint like the new bottlings. Some complexity has been lost due to the dilution.

After opening I felt like I had a cold because I could only perceive the aromas very weakly; but it’s probably due to the strong dilution. On the palate the typical TDL aromas are present, plus something a bit dirty; unfortunately again in a very thin form.

Well drinkable TDL profile with some mint, which is still noticeable despite dilution. With vanilla. Yellow fruits on the nose and some leather, tobacco and barrel on the palate. One of the better ones from this sample set.

Finally a Cadenhead Green Label that you can actually place. A young Trinidad with 10 years, but already shows some character both on the nose and palate. Mint, barrel, and slight dirty notes appear. The alcohol is well integrated and unlike many Green Labels, this one can convince a bit.

Beautiful matte bottle under 100 euros. You can feel the alcohol, but very drinkable. I recommend it even to beginner rum drinkers to discover new flavors. The mint from TDL is an unmistakable taste that you will never get tired of.
