I really like this bottle. It's my second tasting and the rum has a lovely aromatic palette. On the nose, I'd have thought it was a Foursquare 2011, with a lot of similarities like glue/woody/roasted coconut. On the palate, a glue/solvent entry Then very fruity peach, ice tea peach, freshness. Reminiscent of some 2008-2009 tdl. The wood gradually takes over, bringing with it spices, licorice and toasted coconut.

#6586 01.04.2026 Wife has been picked up and I need a break from all the Dictador sweet stuff. Listening to some tracks by Armin van Buuren on spotify. What a lovely Long Pond. The nose is intense anf fruity with ester, banana, light wood, spice and light chocolate. The palate is also intense and fresh with light wood, chocolate, ginger, light polish, mint and overripe fruits. The finish is extremely long and dry with natural sweetness, overripe fruit, mint, citrus and light herbs.

A Long Pond that's clearly off the beaten track! Here, the focus is on gourmandise, with a profile almost reminiscent of Foursquare. A fine blend of chocolate and woody notes, with a fruity touch reminiscent of Jamaica. And a special mention for the visually stunning color of the rum!
