Here's the twist: the nose promises far more than the palate delivers. Glue, banana, mango and papaya lift out of the glass, funky and inviting — then the palate turns woody, smoky and spicy, with the tropical fruit falling surprisingly flat and thin. Vanilla, orange and black pepper carry the middle. A typical, rounded Worthy Park that several tasters find better on the nose than in the mouth.

#4118 This is a really nice balanced release. Once rested it releases a lightly funky nose. Fruity with a spicy touch and a well balanced overall profile in my mind. Draws nice curtains and the empty glass is nice with some grassy and tannin notes.

Nah, I don't really like this one right now. There are better ones from Worthy Park. Fruit is not recognizable for me here, rather very woody, smoky and spicy. Some vanilla and black pepper are also noticeable.

Great, complex nose. On the palate then with concise, somewhat smoky wood impact. The fruits in turn are surprisingly flat, here the rum seems almost a bit thin. For me, therefore, not quite round, but still a not uninteresting release.

8,4:On the nose, glue, menthol hints, banana and dried fruits, candied fruits, creamy roasted wood notes like caramel, chocolate, roasted nuts, caramelized, spicy with allspice, dairy, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, orange, currants, mango and papaya arise, vanilla, cream toffee, pastry, some rubber, molasses is grassy, flowery. 8:On the palate, the attack is medicinal with glue, menthol hints, slightky metallic, creamy with roasted wood notes like caramel, coffee, spicy vanilla, anise, allspice, peppery, smoky, fruity with orange, banana, mango and raisins, as the molasses is vegetal with briny olive. 8:The finish is medium long, dry&tannic, with roasted wood notes, spicy, nutty, pairing banana, melon, citrus and vegetal, grassy molasses. The nose promises a lot – besides glue and spices, various tropical and dried fruits. On the palate then very flat; wood and spice aromas dominate, alongside some orange and raisin. Finish similar.
