#6342 04.02.2026 Training done and wife picked up from work, now it is time for a few samples. Thanks for the samples goes to Petter. This is a nice and intense rum with lots of fruit and nice ester. The overall balanced is really good and it also does really well in a cola I found.

... Hampden, the legendary Jamaican distillery that produces rum as well as alcohol for perfume. In all the rums from this distillery you will taste wild esters, after which your whole organism will soak up the smell of golden tropical fruits - mango, papaya, pineapple, peach. One of the "must try before you die" rums

"Excellent battle with the velier in the photo. A much more expressive nose, a little short on the palate, but at this price, excellent value! In summary, my tasting notes: Nose: Funky, Ester, Tropical fruit, Glue On the palate: Tropical fruit, Ester, Leather Finish: Tropical fruit".

Nez relativement fermé. Fruits tropicaux, un peu d olive, de la colle et un coté vegetal. Ces elements sont toujours presents en bouche. Manque un peu d intensité et d explosion, probablement un peu trop reduit.
