Beautifully balanced low ester Long Pond.

Price quality 👌😍😍 the alcohol 66,6% the perfect number for this bottle
Review by SaibotZtar
Very spicy LP . Dark fruits, honey, caramel, papaya and peach ...slightly peppery . Tastes and smells very tropical. I personally do not find the alcohol in any way disturbing. Rum approx. 30min in the glass when tasting.
Review by RumTaTa
The nose starts with bourbon vanilla, fruits and a restrained long pond profile. Tropical overripe fruit, red berries and a hint of wood polish. The alcohol is very present and stings on the nose. Very balanced overall. On the palate, first sour fruits then more woody and toasty. The finish continues in the same way, the fruitiness disappears quickly and a bitter note is added. The rum starts off more like a very well-balanced Foursquare, the Jamaican origin only becomes clear on the palate. The alcohol is quite dominant, a few drops of water help and at the same time strengthen the woody notes and also a little of the bitter side. A very good rum, for Long Pond rather well-behaved and not in the same intensity league as, for example, the Cambridge STCE.

Typischer Long Pond!

Very nice LP. Exciting profile and not everyday. Very spicy 84/100

Delicious low ester LP. Nicely medicinal with polish, lots of spice and mango, papaya, yellow and tropical fruits.

81 points. Nice LP even though the alcohol stings a bit. I like the nose a lot but expected a little more fruit on the palate.

Taste like 20% of LP with 80% of FSQ, nice

Low Ester LP...yes, definitely...but quite successful...I like the slightly spicier profile. It's not an easy sipper, but after about 1 hour in the glass it's already much more harmonious than at the beginning and the alcohol is well tamed

Pretty hot LP that needs some water to tame. Shows nice tropical fruits and hints of esters (or is it peppery heat? Not sure). Overall a bit unbalanced to warrant a higher score.
