An excellent Panama rum. Balanced and nicely fruity on the nose. On the palate, the chocolate note comes through smoothly. The finish is long and intense.

At first, the alcohol tingles on the nose... then comes caramel and some chocolate. A bit of cassis and dried plum.... On the palate, the alcohol is very burning and not really well integrated. Chocolate and caramel here too... hardly any fruit to be felt in the mouth... sharpness, wood and generally bitter notes dominate.

Unspectacular rum. Unfortunately no fruits, special taste nothing comes really trough. Generally to sweet for me. The alcohol isn‘t integrated well and is always very present. Due the sweet numbers of ABV and bottling age I expected a lot more…

An unspectacular Spanish rum. Sweet, bitter, vanilla, wood, spices, and dried fruits. Somewhat wild, unruly with poorly integrated alcohol and a perfume note I usually know from whisky.
