06.2024 First impression: sweet, fruity, soft, vanilla - very pleasant Nose: a bit of everything: yellow fruit, spices, vanilla, honey, wood - I like it very much Palate: continuation of the nose, but with a nice contrast through well-dosed aromas of tobacco, wood, spices Finish: medium to long, pleasant, dominated by the woody aromas and a very slight hint of bitterness, but this goes well with it Overall impression: very round, no outlier aromas, well-integrated alcohol, probably inconspicuous in mixers

Nothing special, of course. But when you consider that this rum is almost on a par with the standard Bacardi & Havana Club in terms of price, then you really have to pay tribute.

Vanilla/caramel voyage 6,5:On the nose, you'll find the whole Spanish style, inviting, suave and rounded. Vanilla and caramel woodiness are omnipresent. It's distributed here with enough force to make this rum a great tasting experience. We don't fall into the sugar trap and enjoy the toasted coconut and nuts that complete the profile. Airing brings out the sweet vanilla to the fore, having carried off a raw, white wood .Some sweet spices can also be noticed. 6,5:The palate confirms that this is a rather serious rum, but not very complex, which has not come to flatter the sweetest palates. There's that typical, sophisticated woodiness, with a little bite, a little sweetness, metallic, balance in short. The texture is fairly light, with no intention of overpowering, but simply satisfying, with that lovely toasted coconut and sweet spices. Some bitter sting arises time to time. 6,2:The finish leaves an impression of tasty wood and a veil of tobacco, a possible invitation to Cohiba..

Guter Durchschnitts-Rum zu einem angemessenen Preis erhältlich, würzig, etwas Vanille, leicht holzig, gering fruchtig, nicht zu sprittig, wenig süß, nichts Außergewöhnliches, aber für den Preis echt ok, aber grundsätzlich für etwas mehr Geld lieber den 15 jährigen Matusalem

Nose: Simple. Very sweet. Lot of caramel , vanilla, syrup, some coconut. Basic sweet Spanish Ron style... Taste: again sweet. Light body, lot of caramel, honey, raisin, some spices & woody. Aftertaste: medium-short, sweet & little spicy.
