A St. Lucia on the smoky-roasty side. Especially on the palate initially with very pronounced bitter-spicy aroma, plus citrus aromas, heavy wood and medicinal tones. Nice complexity, the alcohol is well integrated, but the roasty note is too pronounced for a higher rating - especially knowing the real heavyweights from St. Lucia.

So another Cadenhead Green Label from St. Lucia. I have to admit this one is really good. Even though it only has an ABV of 46%, it already offers a lot without feeling thin. So far the best from the Cadenhead split for me.

Wow, I'm impressed! This must be the little brother of the legendary Blackadder 1999! At least taste-wise it totally reminds me of it with the intense menthol, wood and the astringent, slightly bitter finish. What a surprise!

I gladly fill my glass to the top!!! What a strong Lucia! Blind you wouldn't even notice the drinking strength. Mega complex on the nose and palate. Every sip is a spectacle. Probably the best Lucia at drinking strength and far better than many Chairmans at cask strength. Big cinema from Cadenheads!

Impressive St. Lucia that is overall clearly on the herbal/spicy side. Some wax and honey notes can also be found. For me, the whole thing has similarities to the Rockley bottlings.
