#4620 23.02.2024 Relaxing at home warming up for the tasting at Whisky Watcher in Odense tomorrow. Nose Intense, light roasted wood, fruity, solvents, ester, light caramel, faint sugarcane. Palate Intense, spicy, light wood, faint roasted, fruity, solvents, ester. Finish Long and warm, fruity, ester, light solvents, faint coconut. The empty glass has some light nuttyness and faint cherry notes. Price to quality is pretty good in my mind.

Very coherent overall picture. Expressive release with the expected fruit accents, plus some spice, barrel aromas and heavy caramel notes. Knows how to please without venturing into new aromatic worlds.
