👃 Fruité, sur l'ananas Victoria et la mangue mûre bien sucrée, le jack fruit un peu pourri caractéristique des HD, léger solvant. Des fruits et épices multiples que l'on peut humer le long d'un chemin de randonnée d'une île de l'océan Indien. Alcool bien intégré, on peut y rester longtemps au dessus de ce verre. 😋 Première impression de l'intégration de l'alcool validée aussi en bouche. Une belle corbeille de fruits exotiques, jack fruit, mangue, passion, carambole, citronnée presque. Légère amertume de l'olive verte dans son bocal, mais pas aussi dérangeante que sur certains high ester. Quelques épices douces de cuisine insulaire sont présentes en second nez et bouche (curry indien, piment doux). ⛳ Belle longueur en bouche, chaude et agréable toujours sur ces fruits en marmelade soutenue par un léger boisé qui apporte du corps à cette finale. Un sucre roux réduit à l'eau d'une casserole fait son apparition sur cette fin de bouche. 💡 Très bon représentant low ester d'Hampden, qui se déguste soit seul, ou en première place dans une Line up HD. Sinon, avec d'autres jamaïcain low ester de chez Clarendon, long pond, worthy Park pour comparer leurs aspects fruités. N.B. -3pt suite à plusieurs 10aines d'Hampden dégustés depuis ma première note.

#6554 27.03.2026 Finally Friday and todays training has been finished. Time to start up the monster sample killing this weekend. For this set I am listening to Neelix, Ghost Rider and Akushiya on Spotify. When looking at the price tag I think you get a pretty good rum. The nose is well rounded with wood, spice, fruits, light glue and varnish as well as light grapes. The palate is intense and has light wood, glue, citrus, banana, light caramel and salt. The finish is long and kind of artificial with polish, citrus, salt and light roasted wood.
