Ein Besuch der Takamaka-Destillerie lohnt sich! Während der Pandemie hat sich die Destillerie neben ihrer qualitativ hochwertigerem Pot-Still aus frischem Zuckerrohrsaft von den Seychellen in sehr kleinen Mengen ein zweites Standbein durch eine dreifach Column-Still aufgebaut, die mit Melasse aus dem Ausland (Mauritius) arbeitet. Damit kann kontinuierlich in großen Mengen produziert werden, wobei hiermit das Cocktail- and Anfängersegment bedient wird. Durch die dreifache Destillation entsteht ein sehr neutraler Rum, der im Nachgang mit Aromen (z.B Fruchtessenzen, Zimt, Vanille, manchmal auch mit Farbstoff und Zucker) versetzt wird. Dieser Rum wurde sehr stark gewürzt und besitzt fast schon ein winterliches Feeling. Das neue Segment hilft der Destillerie finanziell, aber ein Qualitätsrum entsteht dabei nicht.

No co rict , super ze vylepsili silu a recepturu oproti puvodni 38% verzi a sli na 43%. Vune lehce nasladla s vanilkou medem korenim az pomerancove kury a hrebickem, Sladkost z vune se kupodivu neprojevila v chuti , konec kratsi stiplavy hrejivy. Hodne to pripomina Chamarel Mauricius spiced, ale ten je jeste o krapec vymakanejsi na Spiced Rum, jinak na michacky super pocin , a pomer cena vykon pohodka.

Hat ein Freund aus der Destillerie mitgebracht bekommen. Ist gar nicht meins, intensive spiced Nase, unangenehme Orangen Schale. Im Mund weniger süß als gedacht, dafür aber stechend und unangenehm. Kann ich nicht genau beschreiben aber ist komisch.
