A rum tasted at Rhum Fest in 2024. Leather, varnished wood and pastry sweetness on the nose. The palate is very greedy with the same aromas. The finish is long. Very well-integrated alcohol, with no hint of high ABV.

Tasted at Rhum Fest Paris 2024 Typical Belize profile, just the Abv is really high, too much for a sipping rum when one is able to overcome the bites of the alcohol, chocolate and butter welcomes the drinker. Overall, not a bad expression, just too much strong the alcohol

#6842 25.05.2026 Running a few samples after a 10 km walk with my wife. Listening to some nice Trance on Spotify while my wife fell asleep during her stretching exercises. Price tag matches what you get in mymind. A medium intense, light fruity, roasted wood, caramel, light honey and some leather.

A rum from Belize that drinks like whey. The resemblance to Foursquare is quite striking throughout the tasting. The nose is full of pastry notes, from coconut and crème brûlée to buttered brioche and caramel. Spices (cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg), bourbon and chocolate make it a real olfactory bonbon. The palate has the same candy-like impression. The meringue, caramel and sugar are very drinkable. The bourbon barrel, spices, coconut and toastiness only confirm these impressions. At no point do you suspect the alcohol content: the integration is remarkable. The finish, long, intense and round, is in line with the rest of the profile, quite linear in the end. Scents of cream, brown sugar, chocolate and coconut dominate, followed by spices, toasted wood and coffee. A very pleasant rum that sips very (too) easily.

Lots of Belize sweetness, plus wood, fruity aromas and light roasted and herbal notes on the finish. I like it a little better than its sister release, although only nuances really make the difference here. Also a successful selection.

This Belize reminds me a bit of a Foursquare, less complex but with a nice roundness. The almost 70° is very well integrated and not overpowering on the nose. There is one note that dominates for me from start to finish: coconut. We're on something indulgent: chocolate, coconut, butter, toffee.

A Belize rum supercharged to almost 70 degrees alcohol. Sure, it is packed with hyper-gourmet aromas (vanilla, caramel, coconut, etc.) but the alcohol level still makes it complex to drink. It's very pleasant but way too strong for me.

So here I'm completely off... I wouldn't have guessed Belize at all. It stings a bit but that's normal considering it's over 70%... probably needs more time for tasting. It's not the typical chocolatey Belize I'm used to but otherwise good.

Tasting calendar of Pavel Špaček No. 4 Nose typical for Belize, sweet tones, lots of chocolate, coconut and caramel. On the palate very sweet, chocolaty, oily and dense. Coconut lingers quite long in the mouth.

The color is more brown then gold. The nose is full of sugar and vanilla and leather/wood. The taste - what? It has 69 % yeah, it’s warm, but very well integrated and not harsh. The Foursqure signature is definitely present in mouth and I like it. The aftertaste is quite long, warm.

Very enjoyable rum! Creamy, coconut, fudge, chocolate, all good stuff 🤤 Easy accessible, alcohol integrated nicely. Nice introduction to Belize for me. For a 50cl this is a little overpriced though.

Beautiful combination of coconut, vanilla and caramel, with some wood and chocolate. The 70% alcohol is hardly noticeable, the flavor profile very much reminds of Foursquare. Very pleasant Belize, definitely recommend to taste.

An enchanting nose, a gourmand and very intense palate, and an endless finish. A true beautiful representative of Belize, with all its usual markers and a well-integrated alcohol despite its very high strength. Everything I love. Only downside is its quite high price, otherwise the score would have been a bit higher. Bravo for this selection.

Very good Belize travellers with beautiful notes of coconut and caramel. On the nose, it's coconut and caramel, very pleasant. The palate: For the alcohol degree, it is very well integrated and you get the nose well on the palate. I really liked this rum which indeed has notes of Foursquare.

A wonderfull Belize. Surprisingly close to a Foursquare. The nose is highly appreciable with notes of roasted coconut, caramel and creamy chocolate. Tasting reveals those same notes with dark wood overtones, fluffy brioche and overall pastry heartiness. After tasting I was surprised to discover ABV was close to 70! I love cask strength and this one is especially well tucked in, making it an enjoyable slow sipper where a little goes a long way.
