This is how I learned to love this typical ester taste, top.

If you let it breathe for over an hour and come to temperature, the typical New Yarmouth notes of raw dough come through. In this case, it totally reminds me of Dresden Christmas stollen with some candied ginger. I find it very tasty and aromatically balanced and complex. For me, in terms of price-performance, definitely more than the drinking strength of Hampden estate! A really nice Jamaica blend from Long Pond, Monymusk, New Yarmouth and Worthy Park... could almost pass as an easy sipping Jamaican... :)

Honestly, I expected a bit more for the price. The smell was typical Jamaica, though a bit weakly expressed. In taste, in a blind tasting I'd rather have guessed Guyana than Jamaica. And in the end unfortunately quite thin and too diluted.
