O.K. Now I'm surprised myself, as I'm actually the anti-Belize fanboy and haven't really found any of them convincing so far, but strangely enough I think this one is quite good. Maybe I should try one or two of them again soon.

Here is a somewhat different Belize. Nice and fruity on the nose and very spicy on the palate. Nicely complex for 51.5 ABV with some variety of flavors. A lot of dark chocolate comes through in the finish. Beautiful bottling.

8,1:On the nose, sweet roasted wood notes with caramelized butterscotch, marzipan, roasted nuts, chocolate, slightly spicy, herbaceous molasses and toasted coconut, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, dried fruits like raisins and apricots, like a marmelade, arise, some tobacco, metallic patina, as molasses is thick. 8,5:On the palate, the attack is soft, a bit dry, sweet and fruity with candied molasses, slightly grassy, dried fruit like raisins and apricots, citrus, yellow fruits with strong peaches, coconut, the wood is roasted with butterscotch, brioche, chocolate, caramel, marzipan and later cappuccino, oily, spicy with vanilla. 8,3:The finish is long, dry, as dried, yellow fruits and banana pair roasted wood notes, slightly spicy. #5877 20.10.2025 Enjoying a sert of samples while watching Swedish police chases on TV. Nose Light wood, light honey, light chocolate, light caramel, vanilla, faint marzipan, light nutts, dried fruit. Palate Oily, light dry, wood, roasted, light caramel, banana, faint citrus, light cherry, light chocolate, nutts. Finish Long and warm, wood, light roasted, light coffee, dried fruit, light caramel. Empty glass Caramel, chocolate, vanilla, light coffee, light banana.

Broken tasting glass on vacation; that's all the vacation rental had to offer. Very pleasant for a rum from Belize. Typically lots of wood, caramel, roasted aromas, nuts, and coffee. Added to this are dried fruits and some citrus fruits on the palate. Edit: somehow the whole thing also has something of a hazelnut schnapps :)

With water, chocolate notes are added on the nose and in the finish. However, it then unfortunately becomes somewhat burning on the palate.
