Sehr schöner Rum der ganz einfach zu trinken ist. Gut ehrlich und richtig schön fruchtig. Ebenfalls eine schöne Zimtnote sowie eine Portion Holz. Leicht störend die Schwefelnote in der Nase. Diese verfliegt aber im Laufe des trinken.

Zunächst finde ich etwas fruchtiges von Sauerkirsche und Pflaume. Je länger ich rieche desto mehr mischt sich eine leichte Essignote unter. Leicht holzig, etwas würzig. Eine florale Süße ist da auch noch. Oh ja, Stachelbeere, das ist es! Die Stachelbeere noch in der Nase, habe ich sie auch am Gaumen. Dazu kommt schnell etwas salzig-süßes und leicht bitteres Holz. Hinten kommt ein grasiger Zuckerrohr-Geschmack, der auch im Abgang verbleibt.

A clean and clinical single cask rum. A demerara style nose, really quite pleasant with toffee and butterscotch. Mouth is a bit more metallic, black cherry, cognac, vanilla and spice. Pirate rum style mouth and nose. Finish is spicey and floral, cinnamon and vanilla. Column still only. Solid rum
