05.01.2019 A very nice tasting event where I met new local rum nerds. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: light, wood, floral, caramel, pineapple, spice. Palate: light, wood, coconut, caramel, chocolate, pineapple, spice. Finish: short to medium, light, sweet, dried fruit, chocolate, caramel.

Well, it's quite okay. On the nose a hint of citrus fruit. On the palate also citrus fruit and fruity in general, but in my opinion the alcohol predominates here, which is not really well integrated.

A bit boring due to the 46%. I'm generally rarely enthusiastic about rums under 55%. Of course, there are exceptions if there is enough age and it has been diluted before bottling.

.. Foursquare is a distillery from Barbados producing amazing rums for everyday sipping. It's a rum especially appreciated by rum lovers who are fed up with sugar and are looking for a gentle, sweet rum full of coconut, vanilla, chocolate, and caramel. Simply pleasant and not aggressive flavors.
