This Longueteau Blanc was in slot #9 in my 2025 Advent Calendar. It’s produced from “Blue cane” grown at plot 7 and before it was bottled in 3000 bottles it rested for 12 months in stainless steel vats. The nose is intense, fruity, spicy and floral with scents of citrus, peppers and grass. At the palate it’s elegant, smooth, fruity, spicy and mineral with flavors of lime, salt and iodine. The finish is rather long, mineral and dry with flavors of salt and iodine.

Very good nose, especially floral, cane, soft. + Expressive but less sweet than the 130 years cuvée tasted at the same time. Mouth + neutral, a bit disappointing, white pepper, and on the average finish.

#6098 21.12.2025 Enjoying a few more unaged from my box while blowing out some nice Psy Trance on the amplifier. Nose Intense, fresh, fruity, light floral, citrus, light grass, light medicinal, sugarcane. Palate Intense, oily, peppery, sugarcane, spice, citrus, light grass, light salt, light minetal. Finish Medium to long, fresh, oily, citrus, light mineral, light salt. Empty glass Sugarcane, citrus, light iodine, light grass, light floral.
