It’s a really great rum and excellent introduction to Jamaican rum with a blend aged 6-10 years that’s flavourful, smooth and complex with a rather long finish. Bought some bottles of it together with some others from Worthy Park during the last Rum Cruise with Birka Cruises in the Baltic Sea after tasting it at Ian Burrell’s blind taste. I really like that they now are on their own because I’m more interested in having bottles from the actually distillery than from independent bottlers. On the added photo is the bottles included at Ian Burrell’s Blindtest.

Interesting rum mainly because I found it an unusual Jamaican because of some of the fruity notes. As the mere novice that I am, at a blind tasting, I would have mistaken it for an agricultural. Very light toastiness. Medium-long finish with a prevalence of lychee.

Really good starter rum, especially to enter in the wonderfull world of jamaican rums. Very pleasant to drink. Nose is fruity with some esters and a light floral, marzipan, woody notes. The various notes of trop. fruits, esters and wood contiues in mouth. The finish is medium long with various notes. Perfect in combination with a mild cigar👌🏻👌🏻

After a long time, I have once again torn open a rum that accompanied me in my early days. For the price, this is a real underdog for me. With a little more ABV, it would be an absolute cracker. As a mixer, it's excellent and all for under €40 at the time

8:The nose is instantly recognizable. Banana, a brioche, more or less resin and stone with funkiness. At first, it's the dried banana that takes the cake, a banana is very ripe, there are herbal notes/annis, mint, also a hint of vanilla tobacco and yeast, with a pinch of tonka bean.With aeration, a pine is mingled with our dried banana with some peppery notes. The balance between medicinal and pastry is admirably delicious. The rum becomes grassy and green apple arises. The woodiness is chocolatey, caramelized, toasted and ripe exotic fruits, like stewed peaches mingle with cereals.Perfect pie or tarte. 8:The palate is quite dry, unlike the nose, sweetness is natural and tasty.After this rather spicy- peppery with very mild cinnamon, woody attack, the banana is tastier than ever. It's surrounded by spices and brioche yeast, which adds some bitterness with caramel, all becomes very thick but buttery.There are nice floral(perfum) notes also 7,8:On the finish, a bit metallic, pine resin, yeasty pastry linger, with mild bitterness, raisins and raspberries. N: nice mix of glue, varnish, nailpolish remover, ripe papaya and pineapple. Also green olive in brine, tea. Some wood influences with vanilla. Gets fruitier by the minute, on banana and peach. T: Funky and weighty, rather rounded. A tropical fruit mix meets glue, olives, sea spray and tea. Just a bit of spice. Quite complex with the right alcoholic strength. F: Juicy, a tad funky, with solid wood influence of vanilla, slice and cigar box. Solid rum!
