I use this rum for baking. I put raisins into a cup and drow. Them in this rum. Then I add the raisins and leftover rum when preparing the dough. Just tried to add the rum to my run for chicken wings, that works as a charm as well 😋

A spiced rum that is very harmonious. The nose has unripe bananas with cinnamon. On the palate, again citrus with honey and vanilla and a bit of pepper. Unfortunately, the finish is quite short and the whole thing is way too sweet.

The Bayou Spiced is an ok'er rum. On the nose, you can sense a lot of aromas. From vanilla and caramel to baking spices and raisins to marzipan. In the taste, it is quite similar with notes of dried fruits but also smoky and peppery notes. In the finish, light notes of herbs.
