It's far from being the Clarendon of the year. It's not bad but too reduced. Lacks pep. Fruit, grass, vanilla and wood, some spices too, it drinks well but I wouldn't buy a bottle.

#4215 This is a pretty decent release though I would have liked a higher ABV. Something is missing because of the relative low ABV. Fruity with nice balance between the elements. The wood is not taking over even after so many years. Draws nice curtains and the empty glass has some light chocolate and coconut.

Pleasantly matured Clarendon with gentle, somewhat restrained aromatics. On the nose fermented fruit, banana, a bit of vanilla and a calm woody note. On the palate soft and slightly dry with spice, citrus and a subtle bitter note. The low strength makes it very accessible but noticeably takes away depth and complexity from the profile. Overall a rounded, pleasant to drink Clarendon, but clearly lacking the punch and complexity of higher proof bottlings.

It's by far not the Clarendon of the year. It's not bad, but too reduced. It lacks power. Fruit, grass, vanilla and wood, also spices, it's easy to drink, but I wouldn't buy a bottle.
