8,3:On the nose, the first impression we get is a chocolate.It comes out charred wood, as there are also praline, leather, some nuts.Fruity notes are secondary, as a vegetal molasses with tobacco. On aeration an orange peel is evident, from spices vanilla and other wood notes with hazelnut, burnt sugar.Brandy finish brings floral and dried fruit notes, all nicely balanced. 8,4:On the palate, the sweet attack comes from charred wood notes with roasted nuts, chocolate, nougat, fudge, caramel.The fruits are dried with an apricots and raisins, later bourbon yellow.The feeling in our mouth is creamy.Spice notes, that we taste are sweet with vanilla and cinnamon, later clove, as our tasting buds could enjoy a cherry fruit compote.The molasses is vegetal, syrupy with black tea, tobacco and mint.Certainly brandy finish balances and rounds up high ABV. 8,3:The finish is long, balanced with notes from the palate, dry, as an addition, the fruits become candied, the wood peppery.

Wow, was für eine positive Überraschung! Habe den Rum auf Empfehlung probiert und bin schwer beeindruckt. Sehr intensive Haselnuss- und Vanillenote, durch das Brandyfinish (es muss nicht immer Cognac sein) wirkt der Rum fast nachgesüßt. Gefährlich süffig zu einem absolut wettbewerbsfähigen Preis. Perfekt als Partymitbringsel unter neugierigen Nerds.

Von der ersten Nase empfinde ich ihn sehr nussig, genauer gesagt erinnert er mich eher an Nutella. Hat im Geschmack auch eine gewisse dominante Süße. Bin gerade hin und her gerissen ob dieser eventuell nicht nachgesüßt ist. Leider auch sehr süffig. Als Mixer auch auf der easy sipping Seite. Nicht schlecht aber auch leider nicht umwerfend. Aber für diesen Preis kann man den schon mal mitnehmen.

Krasse Nase, wenn man durch Mund und Nase zeitgleich einatmet gibt’s Nuss pur. Auch danach sehr viel Nuss. Positive Überraschung, sehr gelungen. Würde den hier ausnahmsweise aber mal mit niedrigerem ABV probieren.

Schmeckt deutlich gesüßt. Durch das Finish kommen leicht rauchige Noten zum Vorschein.

Probiert auf dem 12. GRF: Krasses Teil, der Brandy kommt ordentlich durch. Für mich aber auch wieder ein Finish, dass mir nicht gefällt.

an der Nase krass nussig! Dazu Karamell und Holz, aber nicht Fass, sondern eher wie ein frisch abgebrochener Ast. Am Gaumen ‚klassischer‘ Spanier, angenehme Süße. Durch den hohen ABV kein easy Sipper, aber er brennt jetzt auch nicht unangenehm. Interessantes Teil, umso mehr, wenn man den fairen Preis berücksichtigt. Besten Dank nach Radebeul für das Sample!

Dass dieser Rum ohne Zuckerzusatz sein soll, kann ich mir beim besten Willen nicht vorstellen. Insbesondere beim Abgang baut sich mit jedem Schlückchen mehr und mehr Süße im Nachgeschmack auf. An sich ist der Tropfen mit seiner an Pralinen erinnernden Haselnussnougat-Note schon lecker und ziemlich süffig für die hohe Alkoholstärke und auch der im Geruch und Mund vorhandene, mit Kirschen aromatisierte Pfeifentabak gefällt mir gut, aber insgesamt ist mir das dann doch zu süß. Dazu bin ich einfach zu wenig Schleckermäulchen.
