#5219 09.04.2025 Running some white samples at home while relaxing a bit. Nose Fresh, medium intense, light grass, citrus, sugarcane, light floral. Palate Naturally sweet, medium intense, light vegetal, floral, round, light citrus, sugarcane. Finish Long, fresh, light oily, naturally sweet, light grass, light floral, sugarcane. Empty glass Sugarcane, light citrus, floral, faint peaches.

Dégustation A1710 La Perle Fine 2022 Ce rhum blanc de la Martinique a un taux d'alcool de 67,5°. Son nez est très surprenant car nous sommes loin des marqueurs communs à la Martinique. Son côté fruité nous amène sur des accents d'eau de vie de poire Williams, façon gnôle du papy, et de fruits de la passion. Le nez est aussi herbacé. Le côté poivré est très discret au profit d'arômes floraux prononcés. Il y a aussi des marqueurs salins. L'attaque en bouche est assez vive mais bien intégré malgré la puissance en watts. Il en ressort tout de suite un fumé délicat nappé de piment. On se dit que ce rhum se marierait merveilleusement avec des accras. Le fruité se transforme vers de l'eau de vie de prune, ajouté à des accents encore salins. Les herbes coupées sont encore présente en fin de bouche. La finale est assez longue du fait de la forte alcoolémie et se prolonge sur du piment et des herbes vertes.

La Perle Fine 2022 – 67,5 % Un profil que j’apprécie vraiment, fruit d’une double distillation sans passage par la colonne de rectification, contrairement aux autres distillats. Réalisée à plusieurs jours d’intervalle, sans réduction, elle offre une expression très aromatique, portée par le melon et les agrumes. L’attaque est franche mais équilibrée, sur des notes plus florales, et la finale longue met parfaitement en valeur l’empreinte du Pot Still.

As ever, A1710 has produced another gem in both senses of the word! Extraordinary nose of sugar cane and lime! It's already like a Ti'punch! The herbaceous, alcoholic attack leaves a pleasant warmth on the finish.
