#7104 30.07.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after a nice day at work and 25 kms of walking. Watching a TV Series calles "Swamp Murders". Decent Caroni with a hefty price tag. Rounded profile with diesel, coffee, roasted wood, nutts, honey, spice and minerals.

... Caroni is a distillery from Trinidad producing at its peak a rum that was added in a 1:10 ratio to naval blends. It was too strong and strange to be pleasant on the tongue. The distillery ended production and closed in 2000. Only in 2010 did tasters appear who liked the rum precisely for its special taste. And interest grew. Caroni belongs to the category of rums "you need to try before you die." I recommend it, Caroni is truly a unique rum.

Color dark amber. Aroma wood, spice, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, oil. Taste wood, spice, sweetness, coffee, caramel, fruitiness, with a hint of technicality; oil and alcohol are well integrated. Finish medium-long with spice, wood, sweetness, oil.
