Not a dirty Caroni, but rather a sweet representative comparable to the Bellamys 1998. You can tell from the quality level that the barrels come from Bristol. But high rarity value and overall quite smooth.

Caroni is a distillery from Trinidad that produced, at the height of its glory, rum which was added in a ratio of 1:10 to the naval blend. It was too strong and strange to be pleasant on the tongue. The distillery ended production and was closed in 2000. Only in 2010 did tasters appear who liked the rum precisely for its special taste. And interest grew. Caroni belongs to the category of rums 'you need to try before you die.' I recommend it; Caroni is truly a unique rum.

Vintage 1995, bottled from a single cask. With 8.1 out of 10, it's a very good bottle, though not the top of my ranking.
