Everything you would expect from hampden! Lots of ripe fruit, a fermented and sometimes sour side and in this rum an unusually sweet side of citrus meringue and custard that gives balance to the whole rum!

Really strong ester fruit nose ... Lots of varnish and solvent. Banana, papaya Anna's honeydew melon fermented fruit salad . The mouth flows slowly and then more and more violently with a lot of ester and very ripe tropical fruits wow ... Slightly dry, no off-notes ... Insanely intense and round ... Wonderful. The stuff my dreams are made of ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Mai Tai : 5/5 no more words needed 😊

Serie Cedro Velier Tasting: Ein Hampden wie er im Buche steht. Der Obstkorb aus allerlei überreifen tropischen Früchten und Estern/ Klebstoff begeistert einen von Nase bis Abgang. Absolut rund und Alkohol perfekt integriert!

The nose gives you exactly what you expect from a 12 years old tropical Hampden marked C<>H with loads of fruits and esters. The palate is surprisingly less extreme with sweet notes like vanilla and caramel on top of the typical profile. A very good rum from which I really like the twist between nose and palate.

Admittedly a very strong Hampden. He really punches you right in the face. I'm really into that. All the aromas are very strong on the palate and it lingers in the mouth for a long time.

Beautiful tropical matured Hampden. Alcohol is very well integrated. Very fruity, esters, mint. It has quite a lot of sweetness and could be a little better balanced. But that's complaining at a high level.

An absolute poem from a Hampden. Strongly reminiscent of the 2010 Warren Khong but with more barrel influence after 12y tropical maturation. Overripe pineapple and banana, intense esters and tasty sour cherry with caramelized meringue meet a good amount of glue and light pastry and brioche notes. The alcohol is well integrated and the finish is long and intense.
