Fresh cane juice and lime lead here, with a naturally sweet, oily texture that several tasters call velvety. It's an unaged Martinique blanc at 52.5% that drinks cleaner than the strength suggests, with citrus, a little earth and white pepper. Most reach for it in a ti'punch, though a few happily sip it neat. One member found it "assez plat" — pleasant but a touch flat.

#4985 19.12.2024 Having a few unaged samples at home 😊 Nose Fresh, medium intense, sugarcane, light citrus, sweet, light earthy, faint herbal. Palate Round, smooth, oily, spice, sugarcane, citrus, light coconut, sweet, medium intense, light earthy. Finish Medium long, fresh, smooth, oily, spice, medium intense, light vegetal, sugarcane, citrus. Another very nice Neisson, super velvety in texture and naturally sweet. The empty glass has stronger vegetal and sugarcane notes.

Tasted blind alongside Intemporel and La Perle, it got knocked down compared to my initial praises!! It comes in last of the three. It keeps its very nice nose of sugarcane and lemon like a ready-made tipunch. On the palate, it is soft and rich but ultimately quite flat, a bit spicy with white pepper. The finish is quite short. A good rum but mostly a myth that falls apart...

Undoubtedly one of the best white rums in the world. Ideal for Ti punch but also great for sipping neat. The alcohol is perfect and well integrated. The nose is fresh and intense with lime and fresh cane. The palate is indulgent with incredible fruitiness and sweetness. A must-have!

Another superb white from Neisson. Cane is the central element, followed by citrus. The whole is enveloped in a very pleasant sweetness. In the same vein as Neisson Blanc 50, but with an extra fatty edge. A real treat.

An excellent white agricole rum. Very fruity with beautiful notes of cane and citrus. The alcohol is well integrated and pairs perfectly with lemon for a ti-punch. Slightly below the other Clos Godinot.

03/10/2025: Neisson tasting @ TasTToe. This was the first sample of the tasting, and a very nice introduction. I like the base Neisson distillate, it's very fresh with notes of citrus, cane juice and grass.

An exceptional ti punch. It could stand on its own but it excels as a ti punch. Pleasantly fruity, it is enhanced with a lemon zest and a bit of cane sugar. Martinique is ours.
