A very smooth rum with a nose and palate in harmony, flavors that spread nicely in the mouth. It's indulgent and pastry-like... It's neither surprising nor sophisticated but it does the job pretty well... the finish is rather long and dry... a good rum to drink where one sip calls for another... as for saying it's a tasting rum... I'd say it's too classic to raise eyebrows.
