The ex-Caroni cask sits quietly in the back. One note holds it short of greatness — a few find it "ein bisschen dünn" (a touch thin) and lacking complexity — but almost everyone calls it very easy and pleasant to drink.

Vorletzter für heute, jedenfalls ein richtig geiles Teil. Brühler Whiskyhaus kann man empfehlen, ist gar nicht soviel teurer :-) Bei diesem Rum hat man überwiegend tropische Früchte, Alkohol super eingebunden, lecker.

#4521 09.12.2023 This was in my mind the best one of them all. Fresh and fruity with nice floral notes. The palate is warm/spicy with nice citrus notes. The finish is medium to long and spicy with a touch of grass. The empty glass has light herbal as well as a faint peach note.

Rum Friendly Club Day 1. Un nez fruité avec de la banane mûre et de l’ananas frais avec des notes de crème aigre, des notes de fermentation et d’herbes sèches. Une bouche nette et ample, d’abord les fruits, puis le côté fermenté et les herbes sèches. Une finale cohérente, tous les arômes sont présents et disparaissent en parfaite harmonie. Un très beau rhum, super agréable à boire, sans faux goût et qui donne l’envie d’en reprendre un verre. Il lui manque de la complexité pour faire partie des grands mais il a un équilibre et une cohérence remarquables.

Ein sehr fruchtiger und floraler Rum. Tropische Früchte mit Ester und blumige Noten. Zusammen mit Würze. Ein bisschen dünn im Mund. Gefällt mir aber trotzdem gut. Besonders die Tropischen Früchte mit Honig und Ester sind toll.

Po delším odstátí mi vůně ani moc nepřijde "haitská". Voní mi to spíš jako produkce Reunionu řízlá Guyanou. Chuťově je takový lehký mix bylinek a ovoce a náznakem perníku? Nic z caroni tam necítím, ale na druhou stranu mi tento rum přijde velmi přístupný.

Leckerer clairin! Das ex caroni Fass ist hier tatsächlich eher subtil im Hintergrund aber bringt eine schöne Aromatik mit ein. Tolle Kombi aus Frucht, Würze, süße und Säure und sehr angenehm zu trinken.
