Rum Friendly Club Day 1. A fruity nose of ripe banana and fresh pineapple with notes of sour cream, fermentation and dried herbs. A clean, full-bodied palate, first fruit, then ferment and dried herbs. A coherent finish, with all aromas present and disappearing in perfect harmony. A very fine rum, superbly pleasant to drink, with no false tastes and that makes you want to have another glass. It lacks the complexity to rank among the greats, but has remarkable balance and coherence.

Delicious clairin! The ex-Caroni cask is actually rather subtle in the background here but brings a nice aromatic profile. Great combo of fruit, spice, sweetness and acidity and very pleasant to drink.

#4521 09.12.2023 This was in my mind the best one of them all. Fresh and fruity with nice floral notes. The palate is warm/spicy with nice citrus notes. The finish is medium to long and spicy with a touch of grass. The empty glass has light herbal as well as a faint peach note.

A very fruity and floral rum. Tropical fruits with esters and floral notes. Together with spice. A little thin in the mouth. But I still like it. Especially the tropical fruits with honey and esters are great.

Penultimate for today, in any case a really cool piece. We can recommend Brühler Whiskyhaus, it's not that much more expensive :-) This rum has a predominance of tropical fruits, the alcohol is well integrated, delicious.

After standing for a while, the aroma doesn't really seem "Haitian" to me. It smells more like production from Reunion spiced with Guyana. Taste-wise, it's a light mix of herbs and fruit with a hint of gingerbread? I don't feel anything from Caroni, but on the other hand, this rum seems very approachable to me.
