Expect ripe cane in flower, plenty of citrus, a grassy vegetal core and a faintly saline, metallic edge, with a long finish several call finely tuned. Notes taken during Rhum Fest 2024, quick notes and a somewhat heavy palate, sorry :) Here we have: a super fine rum, with a little iodized side - just how I love it. A rum: agricole, vegetal, cane, citrus, a bit of pepper? Finish: long and fine, almost slightly sparkling. A bottle I will buy soon! Edit: Rhum Fest 2025: new batch #2 released, biting fully into the cane. Huge!

La Route des Rhumd Advent Calendar 2023 No. 8. A really pleasant Agricole here. The 52.3% are hardly noticeable. Otherwise, as usual with Agricole, nice citrusy, vegetal and fresh nose. On the palate, a bit of sugarcane additionally.

It stands out a bit from the 50° thanks to the few extra degrees which are rather well integrated after passing through the stainless steel tank with micro aeration. The exposure of the cane plots offers slightly different aromas.

#5810 29.09.2025 Day three of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. This is a really nice and well balanced release. There are nice herbal notes with fruits, sugarcane, spice and a nice spicy fresh palate.

Tried at Rhum Fest Paris 2024, so palate might have been a bit tired when tasting. Probably the best of the lot, typical unaged agricole without surprises. I always appreciate the unaged with steel tank rest period

Back to the Rhum Tour 2025 – Second stop: the Duchateau Spiritueux booth In 2024, I had the chance to represent Braud & Quenesson at this same booth. This year, back to good memories with a well-chosen little sip: the Parcellaire L319-52 (52%). 🔹 Braud & Quenesson Parcellaire L319-52 – 52% After 8 months of aging followed by 2 months of reduction, this white shows great finesse. On the nose, a vegetal and floral bouquet: slightly iodized cane, white flowers... On the palate, it’s delicate, tasty, with a saline and gourmand cane, nicely fruity. The finish is long, subtle and perfectly controlled. A true tasting white, in my favorite style.

You find a well-ripe flowering cane with quite a bit of citrus, a nice sweetness, and a slight metallic hint. The kind of rum totally to my taste.

New at Braud et Quenesson with this single parcel aged 8 months in stainless steel tank. Very nice balance between the fruity cane, citrus, and spices. The finish is long and reminds us of the nose and palate.
