Here is a delicious Bielle from 2016 with a beautiful nose consisting of spices. But also smells very fresh and honey is also recognizable. Very woody and barrel-like on the palate. Nuts and dark chocolate are also recognizable here.

#5626 26.08.2025 Relaxing with this nice bielle while watching TV. Nose Wood, light roasted, light olive, light earthy, light citrus, faint chocolate. Palate Oily, light wood, light roasted, light olive, faint salt, citrus, light floral, light vegetal. Finish Long, wood, citrus, light chocolate, light floral, light olive. Empty glass Vanilla, chocolate, citrus, light olive. Price to quality is very good in my mind.

That's really good! The nose is unmistakable, as is the palate, which is very fruity, woody and spicy, but a little hot for this alcohol level. Long finish. Very nice.

A very good Bielle, greedy and fruity. Nice fruity notes on the nose, which then develop on the palate. Fruit, citrus and exotic wood flavors follow one another. The alcohol is well integrated, I recommend it.

🥃 Bielle 2016-2023 BDF (54.2%) : Un rhum très agréable avec un nez frais et épicé, rehaussé d’une touche de miel. En bouche, le boisé intense et les tanins dominent, avec des notes de chocolat noir. Il a su tenir tête malgré une dégustation musclée juste avant !

Tout de suite, on est accueilli par des effluves de pâtes de fruit au coing. Le boisé est là mais léger. Ce qui ressort surtout, c'est le côté très gourmand, pâtissier, avec ce flan aux fruits, ce clafoutis de cerises. Ce nez est très fruité et onctueux. La bouche suit le nez avec plus de complexité. L'attaque est vive et chaleureuse, mais sans arracher la langue avec son alcool. On va tout de suite sur du tabac, mêlé avec beaucoup de fruité, notamment de l'abricot sec, mais aussi des fruits à coque. Son versant pâtissier a disparu tout en gardant beaucoup de rondeur, avec une sensation de sucré, de miel, très réconfortant. La fin de bouche amène curieusement un léger côté iodé. La longueur est bouche est conséquente, très longue, sur les fruits à coque, notamment la cacahuète grillée, et on retrouve seulement quelques épices, vanille, cannelle, qui recouvre un boisé agréable.

J'adore Bielle, et celui est fruité et gourmand comme je les aimes, avec un petit côté bonbon acidulé. Un régal ! Je le trouve encore meilleur que le BDF 2014 qui était déjà très bon .

The nose is soft and sweet (pastry and hazelnut) with fruit and a woody undertone. The palate is full-bodied with dried dates, young wood, pepper, leather, with a long, lingering finish and a small sour note.

Bielle est d’une continuité exceptionnelle sur son millésimé de 7 ans. Rien qu’à l’ouverture c’est ennivrant, ça titille les narines. Une fois en bouche c’est confirmé de la puissance mais en finesse avec un superbe équilibre aromatique, qui dure. Un jus envoûtant qui reste une valeur sûr pour se faire un gros plaisir sur les vieux agricoles sans se ruiner.

Too much alcool there, bringing to sharp edges that made the dram near to unpleasant. A pity because behind the alcool there is something going on, but not enough to give a good score. Maybe with some oxyidation there is room for improvement.

Napodruhé jako slepá degustace. Vůně mi docela připomíná produkci z Barbadosu s přidaným pepřem. Chuť mě ale hned vyvede z omylu. Jasný agricole. V závěru docela muškátový oříšek. Protože nevím původ, tipnul bych domácí staření, možná Bielle. A hle, sice ne domácí, ale Bielle to bylo 😃
