Slot #5 in my 2025 Advent Calendar. This is 8th edition of the Bologne Black Cane Vintage. The nose is round, fruity, floral, fresh and spicy with scents of lime, citrus and peppers. At the palate it’s intense, well balanced, smooth, floral, fruity, sweet, round, fresh and spicy with flavors of lime, citrus and peppers. The finish is long, round and spicy.

A rum tasted at WLP. A very expressive nose with herbaceous and some fruits. The palate, in contrast, appears rather soft with the same flavors as on the nose. The finish is too short, disappointing.

Good tasting. Ideal for me in TI punch where it goes extremely well with its 50°. Tasting neat, it is a bit dry (I like that but not sure everyone does). Nose: fruity, vegetal, floral Palate: sugarcane, vegetal, dry Finish quite long with sugarcane and its vegetal side coming out. Nice tasting.
