Notes prises lors du Rhum Fest 2024, Notes rapides et palais un peu lourd, désolé :) On a ici : un jamaicain jeune, marqué, assez fougueux Un rhum : qui plaira pour découvrir la jamais Finale : ester, fruits murs, banane à plein nez. Pas super complexe, mais efficace.

C'est bon, tous les marqueurs jamaicains sont présents mais de manière trop discrète, conséquence de la forte réduction assez présente en bouche. Un très bon jus pour l'apéritif ou pour découvrir gentiment les jamaicains. Dommage avec quelques degrés de + il aurait pu être de grande qualité.

🌴 Jamaican Rum (42,8 %) Assemblage de rhums des distilleries Long Pond et Clarendon, distillés en pot still et vieillis entre 3 et 5 ans. On retrouve une belle puissance aromatique sur les fruits tropicaux mûrs, avec des notes pâtissières et une légère touche résineuse. Ça manque un peu de complexité, mais on monte d’un cran par rapport au Barbados.

#5230 12.04.2025 running some samples at home while listening to some Goa Psy Trance. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, fruity, overripe, banana, light pineapple, faint leather, spice. Palate Oily, light wood, fruity, overripe, banana, light floral, faint chocolate, spice, faint leather. Finish Long, fresh, light wood, fruits, light citrus, banana, faint nutts. Empty glass Nutts, chocolate, light vanilla.

Well, the nose is nice and full of pep, the palate a little more subdued, but really good for not getting carried away.
