A great release from Dead Reckoning! 3 young Jamaicans blended in a 120 year old tawny port barrel. On the nose the port infulence is clear, however the jamaican funkiness definitly comes through on the palate. Sweet (not artificially), fruity, varnish, slightly herbal with a medium length finish. There is a lot going on here, quite complex. The bottler mentions that the inside of the barrel was wet and sticky from the residue left from the port.

#5976 19.11.2025 Celebrating my birthday a bit waiting for my wife to get home from work. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint smoke, pineapple, light coconut, nutmeg, light mango, faint floral. Palate Fresh, oily, light wood, light coffee, citrus, light banana, berries, light mango, faint floral. Finish Long, woody, light roasted, pineapple, berries, light tea. Empty glass Light honey, banana, faint glue, faint coffee.
