A fantastically round rum. Fresh fruit on the nose with some citrus, subtle vanilla and raisin. The taste is surprisingly fruity for its age, a little rosy, some oak and wood. The visual presentation rounds off the experience. Typical Saint James of very high quality!

This is an exceptional Rhum from Saint James. It’s a blend of the vintages of 1998, 2000 and 2003 all of them aged for over 12 years in small bourbon casks. I can really recommend it, even though the average price is a little high at around €180.

I also sampled this rum at the Rum Regatta in Flensburg and a bottle ended up in my shopping bag. I really like the rums from Saint James, so I wasn't surprised by the quality of this one. The nose is fruity and woody with spices, chocolate and light coffee. The palate is well balanced and complex with wood, lots of fruits, spices and chocolate. I can't decide if its warm or peppery. The finish is medium long with roasted wood, spices and dried fruit. Try to leave the empty glass for a few hours and then whif it. F

Very nutty agricole with balanced wood notes. An interesting blend of 3x 12YO ex-Bourbon Vintages.

excellent nosing and tasting. a beautiful mix of dried fruits and wood. still, it's a bit overpriced compared to the St. James 15 which is half the price and also very good.

Very good but lacks a little pep.

Good, but a bit thin for my taste.

Typical Agricole Rum, more on the woody side on the palate and finish.
