How does Rum Paradise Bielle Cask Project No. 1 2015 taste?
Aggregated from 9 community reviews.
Wine-dominated, spicy Bielle experiment Solid, cask-driven Bielle where the wine finish, dried fruit and spice please some drinkers, while others miss the agricole freshness and find the alcohol and tannins a bit much.
Agricole fans who enjoy bold wine finishes, dried-fruit and tannic spice at higher ABV and like comparing experimental casks to more classic Bielle bottlings.
Newcomers, those sensitive to 55% ABV, and purists wanting clean, fresh cane notes rather than a dominant red/fortified wine cask profile.

Alkohol schlecht eingebunden. Trifft persönlich überhaupt nicht meinen Geschmack.

The wine barrel is so present that you can't make out the base fabric, unfortunately. I was actually looking forward to Bielle.... Nevertheless, a good rum!

Review by Lot-NAS
The Cask killed the spirit. This could also be a Whisky with some intense finishing. Nevertheless I really liked it and for half the price I would get myself a bottle as easy companion for soon to come autumn evenings.
