Sipped neat it's an easy, soft pour — a Barbados backbone with a light Oloroso layer that brings almond, hazelnut and dried fig without ever taking over. Most drinkers land on "gentle and sweet," a couple say a touch too sweet, and one picks out cinnamon and a slightly artificial edge. There's a nice salty-nutty twist a few tasters loved. Light body, mild finish.

I somehow remember the first batch better. Feels even a bit sweeter and yet less rounded. Kind of goes towards grape-nut chocolate which I never liked 😃

A bit too sweet for me. I find cinnamon dominates quite a bit. Doesn't taste quite typical of an Oloroso finish, rather somewhat artificial.
