Al naso è legnoso con frutti canditi e rossi acerbi, tabacco, spezie e pochi agrumi. C'è anche una nota corposa carbonizzata/fumosa molto interessante. Al palato resta legnoso e speziato con la lieve nota carbonizzata e tostata da contorno, nonostante questo è fresco e vivace con sentori floreali e di frutti rossi maturi. Nel complesso è delicato e aromatico, ma senza troppa profondità e carattere. Lascia un retrogusto secco-legnoso in bocca.
