Then the collection was expanded with a no. 16 - finally a 12 year rum from Venezuela in this series and it really suits my taste - a pure pleasure to enjoy 😋👍

Barva je velmi tmavá, až do hnědočervena. Ve vůni karamel, vanilka, dřevo až marcipan. V chuti karamel, dřevo a opět ovoce…závěr krásně hřejivý a dlouhý, líbí se mi že alkohol je tentokrat docela dobře zaintegrovaný do chuti - teda spíš dlouhého závěru. Velmi dobrý poměr cena a výkon - za slušné peníze, rum co se hodí na večerní pohodu po náročném dni ..a dlouhé vychutnávání u rozjímání…

#4252 16.09.2023 Whisky N Rum Show 2023. Another release with a good price tag. What I like about this rum is the nice light smoky wood notes mixed with the fruit and spices. This one also has a oily feel and a long warm finish. I noticed some nutty notes in the empty glass.

Hier wurde ein tolles Fass abgefüllt. Wie so häufig bei Rum aus Venezuela wurde dieses vor dem Befüllen wohl stark ausgebrannt und sorgt für eine röstig-rauchige Grundstimmung mit viel Nougatschokolade und Kaffee, auf der sich das leicht fruchtige Destillat präsentieren kann. Die hohe Alkoholstärke ist nur anfangs im Geruch zu merken, während im Mund zwar massiv die Speicheldrüsen aktiviert werden, aber keine schneidende Schärfe die Schleimhäute malträtiert. Macht mir richtig Spaß!

Vůně nabízí harmonii vanilky, karamelu a čokolády, doplněnou o tóny pražených ořechů a koření. Chuť je plná, kouřová a pepřová, s výraznými prvky hořké čokolády a dřeva. This rum appeals to connoisseurs of complex flavors. The nose reveals a harmony of vanilla, caramel, and chocolate, complemented by roasted nuts and spices. The palate is full-bodied, smoky, and peppery, with distinct elements of dark chocolate and wood. The finish is warm and dry, with roasted almonds and coffee notes lingering for a medium duration. --- Deutsch Romdeluxe Collectors Series No. 16 ist ein anspruchsvoller Rum mit ausgeprägten holzigen und würzigen Noten, ergänzt durch subtile Schokoladen- und Nussnuancen. Dieser Rum spricht Kenner komplexer Aromen an. Die Nase zeigt eine Harmonie von Vanille, Karamell und Schokolade, ergänzt durch geröstete Nüsse und Gewürze. Der Geschmack ist vollmundig, rauchig und pfeffrig, mit deutlichen Elementen von dunkler Schokolade und Holz.
