Rum Nation DDL Demerara Rum Solera No. 14 2015
Coffee-lovers and Guyanese-rum newcomers are the natural fit here. Expect strong mocha, cocoa, dark chocolate and caramel with a burnt-wood edge — like a caramel candy spiked with coffee beans, as one taster put it. Several find it a touch too sweet and a bit one-dimensional; a few enjoy dried plum and a faint sherry note. Light body, easy to drink.

- Easy to drink
- But: Leans too sweet

How does Rum Nation DDL Demerara Rum Solera No. 14 2015 taste?
Aggregated from 88 community reviews.
Sweet, coffee-forward Demerara, a bit one-dimensional Most agree it's a pleasant, coffee-and-cocoa Demerara that leans sweet and a little flat. Fine as an entry sipper or mixer, but experienced drinkers find it one-sided and short.

Nosing Demerara sugar, chocolate deep taste This truly tatses like a dialled down woods rum . Proper Demerara sugar that's deep in dark chocolate , raisens and woody ... Nice umdosed tatse of Demerara.. blantent from DDL distillery , sometimes ddl get bad representative from dosed sugar this feels without ... Very clean on the after taste

This one is very nice. Price / quality 👌 Very fruity flavors. Sweet with a slight bitterness to it. A bit oaky as well.

Moc jsem nečekal a taky moc nedostal. V chuti i vůni zřetelně dominuje káva, kromě ní trocha karamelu a jemně opečené tóny. Existují lepší rumy a není jich málo.

Nose Barrel and coffee. Stong with hint of dried plum It has syropy mouthfeel, but it is not syropy in taste. Heavy rum. Melases, barrel, cacao, some coffee like mocha. At the end is very pleasent sherry. I would love that rum to have more of this sherry notes, but it is only some aftertaste. Finish is short with sherry and mocha coming out more and quickly fading away Good heavy rum. Pleasent and not overwhelming, but it is quick and shallow expirence. I'm suprise that rum don't have really robust taste with at least medium finish

Probably lots of SV mark in this Demerara. Initial smell: yes coffee. Caramel. Burnt sugar. Cocoa. Leather. Not too heavy. Taste: although light still pretty big flavours. Lots of coffee. Dark chocolate. Wood. Bitters. Caramac candy bars. Not bad. A bit onesided for all the stuff Diamond can make but a nice gateway for the more thick woody Guyanese stuff (with probably some e150 aged with the cask).

Dafür muss man kein Geld ausgeben.
