#4272 28.09.2023 One of the samples from the Whisky N Rum Show in Copenhagen. Price to quality is pretty OK on this one. A fresh and fruity rum with light ester notes. The palate is naturally sweet and oily with fruity notes and a spicy touch. The finish is medium to long and sweet. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some licorice.

Well, it doesn't really grab me either, somehow it hasn't worked out so far. Sure, Jamaica is recognizable here, tropical fruits and some esters, but also light citrus fruits. But I find it too alcoholic.

A nice daily sipper that is a good introduction to the world of Jamaican rum. Slightly spicy and estery without being overpowering. Good, intense alcohol strength.

Very good this cask strength, unlike the base version which I didn't appreciate, this one is well balanced, the alcohol integrates perfectly.
