Good continental aged Caroni with the typical HTR markers. Pleasant sweetness on the palate alongside the dirty tar aromas and the spiciness typical of the '98 vintage. The finish has a recognizable roasted note that lingers alongside the aromatic potpourri. A nice release that gives an impression of the typical Caroni profile, but is clearly below the Caroni top class.

Ein solider Caroni mit typischen Noten von Teer, Gummi und Rauch. Die 25 Jahre Reifung bei 57,1 % Vol. verleihen ihm Tiefe und Komplexität. Im Vergleich zu anderen Caronis dieser Serie zeigt er sich etwas zurückhaltender, dennoch ein lohnenswerter Tropfen für Liebhaber der Destillerie.

I like it a lot 🤩 Beautiful harmony of aromas. Dirty but not too dirty, roundness, tar and leather, caramel, vanilla, a touch of leather 😍 Well-rounded, with good length. Alcohol very well integrated, you don't feel the watts.
